Probably the first thing most people want to know is how easy is this bike to fold and unfold?
The good news is that it is incredibly easy to fold. You can fold the entire bike in half literally along the crossbar, and fold it back up again with hardly any effort at all. The latch which holds the bike in place is well made and secure and the whole folding and unfolding is nice and smooth. The handlebar stem also folds down making the entire bike compact enough to carry with you on public transport or stow away in the trunk of a car.
This folding bike also features a genuine 7-Speed Shimano Tourney Derailleur. The derailleur is fixed directly onto the bikes lightweight high-tensile steel frame and the 7-speed cassette and chain have a rust resistant coating to ensure easy and smooth riding on level ground as well as on hills, and shifting up and down through the gears while riding is smooth and accurate thanks to the bikes incredibly responsive G-Falcon 7-speed handlebar mounted grip shifter.
As mentioned above the Euromini Zizzo Ferro also comes with an adjustable high-tensile steel stem which also folds down very easily for storage and transportation, and the handlebar has the extra feature of being able to be rotated backwards or forwards to provide you with the most comfortable position for your hands and wrists as you ride.
You also get a set of front and rear V-brakes which are also made of high-tensile steel making them very lightweight while while still giving you the stopping power you need, when you need it, even when travelling at top speed. Braking is probably made even more efficient with the addition of multi-terrain tires which provide maximum grip on a variety of different surfaces.
And to make the Euromini Zizzo Ferro extremely convenient and easy to carry and store, it folds right down to just 27″ high x 31″ long x 12.5″ wide, and weighs just 29 lbs. And to keep the bike standing stable in an upright position when it is folded down, you can actually lower the seatpost right down so it acts as a tripod with the 2 wheels allowing you to stand it literally anywhere just like you can with the Zizzo Campo and Zizzo Via folding bikes.
And to top it all off, the frame on this bike comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame for as long as you own the bike!

Adjustable seat post: The height of the seat post can be adjusted to suit riders from 4 ft 8 ins all the way up to 6 ft 3 ins tall, giving them the most comfortable individual riding position. Once you set the seat to your ideal height it is held securely in place via an adjustable high-tensile steel collar, the same type of collar is also used to secure the handlebar post height and also the position of the handlebar brake levers.
Lightweight High-Tensile Steel Frame: Stronger than aluminum frames, high-tensile steel is also long lasting and highly durable making them far more shock absorbing and comfortable to ride as well as being able to withstand more knocks and blows without suffering damage,
20″ Aluminum Rims, with Black Anodized 28H Spokes: Aluminium wheels are incredibly strong and lightweight making the bike faster and incredibly maneuverable.
Kickstand: This bike also features a kickstand which allows you to store the bicycle away without having to fold it down pretty much anywhere you please.
Reflectors: To make sure you are seen in traffic by other road users, particularly when riding at night or in other low-lit conditions, this bicycle is fitted with reflectors on the pedals, and another one under the rear of the seat attached to the seatpost.
There are also some attachment points which allow you to add a standard water bottle cage, rack and also a magnetic frame catch.

Performance…
The Zizzo Euromini Ferro is pretty well built and folding and unfolding the bike is really quick and easy to do without needing anything like superhuman upper body strength.
This bike rides really well and can easily handle light trails, for example fire roads and double tracks, however for more rugged trail riding you would be better off with a folding mountain bike.
The Shimano gears do take some of the grunt work out of hill climbing, and allow you to get up some speed on the flat, however this bike is only ever going to move a fast as you are able to pedal it.
The brakes do exactly what they are supposed to, even when travelling downhill at speed
The handlebars are really easy to adjust and you can either set them low like on a road bike, or you can set them high like on a beach cruiser, whichever suits you best.
The bike feels pretty sturdy to ride, however some users have found the seat to be on the hard side and swapped it for something more comfortable.

If you’re just dipping your toe, or you’re looking for a budget friendly, entry-level, quality folding bicycle then we recommend checking this one out.
It’s got pretty much everything you need in a folding bike at a really great price point which makes it exceptional value for money.
The high-tensile steel frame makes it pretty strong while still being light enough to give you maximum maneuverability. It’s also really easy to fold and unfold making it a breeze to carry and store away.
We also like the way the seat post can be lowered right down to form a tripod with the wheels so you can stand the bike literally anywhere when it’s folded down.
This is also a smooth bike to ride, the gears and brakes work incredibly well, and it’s also ideal for riding on city streets for commuting through the week, or recreational leisure riding on light trails at the weekend.
This bike also happens to occupy the number 3 spot on our Top 10 Folding Bikes For 2020 list, and one which we highly recommend taking a look at.
The only negative we could find with this bike is that it doesn’t come with a carry case or rack like you get with the Schwinn Loop folding bicycle, however it’s still a great bike and well worth checking out.
