Performance- What’s It Like To Ride?…
We know it’s just common sense, however, to get the best out of this bike, make sure the tires are properly inflated before you set off.
As this bike is 100%c electric powered, no pedals, it’s a little bit different to operate than a standard bike. All the operating controls-throttle, horn, power button, headlight switch etc are located on the handlebars within easy reach, and are also really easy to operate. All you really need to do is mount up, switch on, twist the throttle and you’re away.
The Swagcycle Pro rides really smoothly and quietly on paved roads, you can hardly hear it at all, it has no problems on unpaved roads, sidewalks and ramps either, it just cruises right along, it’s a very comfortable ride, responsive too, however it’s not great when it comes to hills, then again it’s not supposed to be.
Steering this bike can take a little getting used to as it has a bit of a wide turning circle with the wheels being pretty small but once you get the hang of it it’s really easy to maneuver and especially useful for zipping in and out of traffic to cut down on the time of your commute. The brakes are spot on and stop you when you need them to.
The stem and handlebar folds down easily-the bikes frame doesn’t fold. When folded it is nice and compact and relatively easy to take on buses, subway, and trains, and it fits great in a car trunk too.
The only drawback is that the seat isn’t adjustable, having said that it is still a comfortable ride for users up to 6 ft tall, any taller and you may need to consider a different bike.

If you’re looking for a folding bike that pretty much does all the work for you then we highly recommend taking a good look at the Swagcycle Pro folding electric bike.
This is a great choice for commuters. All you do it hop on twist the throttle and you’re on your way, zipping in and out of standing traffic and saving yourself time and money every time you use it. Plus you can also use it on dark winter mornings and late into the evening due to its really bright LED headlight. It also folds up small enough to take on the bus or train if you need to, and it fits easily into the trunk of a standard size car.
This folding electric bike also has a pretty decent battery life allowing you to cover 15 miles per charge, its comfortable and maneuverable and can even cope with slight hills too, and with a top speed of around 18 mph you can get to wherever you need to be way ahead of time.
The Swagcycle Pro is also currently at number 5 in our Top 10 Folding Bikes for 2020 list as well as being pretty high on the Amazon.com list of best selling folding bikes.
We would have preferred it to come with a folding frame and a carry bag like the Scwinn Loop, but then again this is a completely different type of bike and well worth checking out.

The things they seem to be the most impressed with are that it gives a pretty smooth ride of up to 15 miles per charge, is great for beating traffic on a commute and tackles slight inclines, ramps and unpaved roads easily, plus the fact that you can charge your devices on-the-go via the bikes USB port.
They also like the safety features such as the brakes which stop you on the spot, the horn. LED headlights, brake lights and rear reflectors, and the fact that it folds up nice and small to fit in a car trunk or carry on public transport.
There are also a number of reviews where people have given this bike 3 stars or less and their main concerns which you may wish to take into account are the fact that there is no suspension so you will feel bumps, there are no pedals so when the battery runs out you can’t ride it, and you are unable to go the full 18 mph without using the app control.
