The Urbano is a 8-speed bike which gives an exceptionally comfortable ride on city streets, it’s fast, highly maneuverable and makes a fantastic choice of commuter bike and a great geared alternative to the Vilano Urbana above. The gears shift smooth and accurately and make hill climbing pretty easy, the brakes are spot on, and folding and unfolding it is a breeze.
Storage wise the Urbano folds down nice and compact allowing you to stow it in the trunk of a car, a garage, even just in a corner without it being in the way. It’s really easy to take on public transport and not too heavy to carry on stairs either.
Another thing we really like about this bike is that it is easily adjustable to suit all riders from under 5 ft tall, to over 6 ft 4 ins tall and weighing up to 240 lbs.

Despite being slightly heavier, it’s not going to be too heavy to carry for most people and this bike still maintains a pretty decent level of maneuverability making it a good choice for students and workers for commutes, plus, in terms of speed and riding this bike in general, the bikes 7-speed Shimano gears do a pretty good job of making up for the extra few pounds, especially on hills.
